Tideline

Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Tideline (the “Service”), a web application for managing short-stay and Airbnb property operations. Tideline is operated by Lucas Borg, a sole proprietor based in South Africa (“Tideline”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Tideline is an operations tool that helps hosts track cleaning, turnovers, supplies, maintenance, guest information, bookings (via calendar sync) and finances. Tideline is not a booking platform and does not take reservations, list properties, or process guest payments.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

3. Subscriptions, billing and trials

Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) at the prices shown at sign-up. New subscriptions may include a free trial; if you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription begins and you will be charged. You can cancel at any time, effective at the end of the current billing period.

Payments and billing are processed by Paddle (Paddle.com), our authorised reseller and merchant of record. Paddle handles the transaction, invoicing and applicable taxes. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle’s buyer terms.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: breaking the law; attempting to access other users’ data; disrupting or reverse-engineering the Service; or uploading unlawful, harmful or infringing content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Your data

You retain ownership of the information you enter into Tideline. You grant us the limited right to store and process it to provide the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the data you enter, including any guest information.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may add, change or remove features over time. We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new “last updated” date.

7. Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tideline is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, revenue or profits arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

8. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
